Scott, George and I have enjoyed our Sunday walks and are planning on making it a family tradition. I don't think you can get use to the beauty that Heavenly Father has created, and it's always great to get some air and your blood pumping going uphill.
On our way up, George decided to say "Down, sit!" and plopped right down on the road. Scott and I joined him and nibbled on popcorn we brought along, and sipped some water while taking in the views of the mountain and hills around. It will be awesome when the first snow hits and be able to see everything dusted in pretty white. Our kids have no idea how lucky they are to live here, in the beauty and landscape of the mountains. Its not as intense as Tennessee, but I think it suits us just right.
Church went lovely today, and I found I will be giving the lesson next week in Relief Society. The lesson I will be giving will be on Elder Bednars talk, "Bear up their burdens with ease". This will be the second lesson I give in our new branch (church building), but I'm still pretty excited, although still nervous! It's never easy standing in front of others and giving lessons! Most of my life, I've been teaching Primary (children 4-12), but I must admit, joining the adults is a whole different league! Its exciting but intimidating. I know so little compared to most of the women who are twice my senior and its a humbling experience as I learn this! I don't have to be perfect, we edify and learn from each other as we learn from church doctrine and teachings on how we should live our lives like our Savior desires us to. Its quite an awesome experience and I'm proud and happy to be in a worldwide sisterhood. Seriously, it can't get better than this, especially when sisters truly love each other and work towards being more like our Savior each day.
