George had fun with his good friend, on her family's Pioneer train ride! He was giggling away and they both had so much fun! The train vibrated crazy and went up and down hills, tooting its horn as it piled around historic items, like horse pulled wagons and old fashioned mine equipment adorning the sides of the tracks. Indeed, it was such a blast to see! I thought the train ride would be too long for him, but he greatly proved me wrong by shouting excitedly "Again!" as the train pulled to a stop and all the tourists and home Schoolers piled out. Since we hitch-hiked to begin with, we got the "behind the scenes" Special, of being able to go up hill again to put the train back to it's starting point. Honey, our friend's family dog, piled in the train cart with us to get an ear rub and rode back up with us, to George's thrill and joy. He loves Honey-dog! We'll have to book an official booking for Thanksgiving when our family visits ;) We were incredibly lucky being able to catch a ride; out off all the 20 or 30 train carts, there was one opened just for us, a blessing from Heavenly Father. Next time when family comes though, we'll make an official booking so we're not free-loaders. Not like we could catch a free ride during such a busy time anyway though! Well, I highly recommend this place for an amazing educational experience, but because of it's relatively close distance to our neighborhood, I am going to withhold their name! It really is a fantastic place to visit though :)
