The healthiest, most amazingly yummy salad recipe ever! And none of those flimsy salad greens! No-fluff power, yo. ;)
No fluff salad
3/4 cup long grain brown rice
half orange pepper chopped
6 cherry tomatos halved
1 slice black forest ham chopped (optional)
1/4 cucumber diced
1/2 busshel cilantro (makes it magical!)
1/2 can black beans
1/2 lemon squeezed
*makes 3 cups, serves 2
Season with salt and pepper
This recipe is super easy to double or even double twice. It's super yummy, fresh and with many complementing flavors. Do know, that tastes the absolute best when eaten when freshly made (I don't recommend making ahead of time. It can be done, but it loses it's flavors and crisp, fresh tastes). This fresh, sweet, zippy meal is a fantastic addition to any meal or occasion and I'm planning on making this for this Thanksgiving coming up! Enjoy and feel free to share!
