My heart aches after today's event. Humiliation, embarrassment, and a flood of relief that my son is safe and sound. The reality of the danger's of living in the country came flooding as we went downstairs to not find George looking for his stuffed rabbit he call's "Bunny" or braking into the freezer for ice cream, Scott found the front door opened and unlocked. Concern was quickly replaced by fear as I researched the rooms, me calling out "George, say 'Doggie'!" and all the close surroundings of our property with all his usual spots he loves to play in... nothing.
