Tuesday, we drove down the Hill and helped Nana back onto her boat, just in time for her to miss another cold spell up in the mountainous countryside! It was so nice visiting the Sea again, and George and Emilie enjoyed the sights and smells of the salty air and many tourists of San Diego. Walking Nana's dog was George's favorite part of the day, with seeing sailboats and getting to stretch his legs from the much car riding and grocery shopping. Isabella really enjoyed her walk too!
Cute Facts of the Week:
While George was put in time out, he acted out and pouted as usual. This time though, Emilie was strapped onto me with a sling a saw the whole thing. I was shocked to hear he burst out laughing hysterically. You know some of those babies in youtube who just completely crack up and laugh till red? That was Emilie!!!
George is now speaking like crazy and understanding things better now. The language gears have kicked up a notch. It's awesome when he responds to me understanding what I'm asking of him. He himself is using more complex sentences.
Emilie is now following a ball and movement astoundingly well. George and daddy were playing ball in the great room last night and Emilie followed them and the spiky hot pink ball with such finesse!
Emilie sneezed snot in George's face yesterday. George laughed.
George now loves to play "Hospital". He will get in a tricycle crash, and mommy drags him with a "stretcher" (mat) to the Hospital (tent) where he gets shots with the cold magnets of his toy trains and some random object used as an X-Ray machine. Tigger is the mechanic and fixes his bike. :)
