The first inquiry was really promising, but she took to long to reply (email), the second was a voice mail left (and I was still holding out for the first woman), and the third was a text right before 9pm tonight... we went with the third. Reason, texting is way faster to respond to and a whole lot less intimidating! We found out from the buyers that they are wanting to start a petting zoo for their grand children and, most importantly, that Sam would be well taken care of and loved! I'm a little worried that they're "starting" a zoo, but his odds are far better there than here on death row (and I secretly wanted him to go to a little zoo. The one up here wouldn't take him because he had horns... I think, they actually never called me back, but that's what I think...). Sam will be boarding with a two month old hornless female and also some cute bunnies! We're also excited that they offered for us to come visit him there too (a little more easy to part knowing that). We're so excited for Sam and hope he can hold on for one more day (he's not eating besides when we're out there beside him). The buyers will be coming tomorrow to pick him up and we're excited to meet them. Here is the craigslist ad we posted below. Isn't he cute? We're so going to miss him but know he's going to be so much happier with a friend! We're going to miss you Sam...
